How Colorado Expanded my Horizons

Immersing myself in a new environment and working alongside a diverse group of professionals 
has proven invaluable insight into my own capabilities and potential. Having spent all my life in 
Texas, I was never exposed to the rest of the world and the possibilities of exploring. Growing 
up I wasn't as fortunate as others, so I didn't get to explore nearly as much. I am excited to share 
this experience that not only allowed me to grow and learn but also has me remaining forever 
grateful for the opportunity to participate in the richness of life’s journey. The distinct difference 
in climate, ambiance, and lifestyle in Colorado broadened my perspective, dispelling previous 
uncertainties about branching out beyond my home state. The air is fresh and crisp, there is less 
humidity, and the warmth is just right. The people at Envirotech Services, LLC, have been 
incredibly helpful, supportive, and candid with me. They’ve shared their experiences of living in 
Colorado, including their favorite parks, restaurants, family memories, and personal insights, 
along with stories of what it takes to relocate for a career, giving me the confidence to embrace 
change and explore new opportunities. 

How my Internship Transformed my Career

As I embarked upon this journey of new experiences and opportunity, a mix of nervous 
anticipation and profound ambition enveloped me like a weighted blanket, hinting at something 
beyond just power and excitement. What I didn't fully grasp is how transformative this 
opportunity would honestly be. Throughout my training at EnviroTech Services, LLC, I have 
experienced significant growth in productivity, innovation, and workforce development, thanks 
to the guidance of my mentors. We accomplished this by ensuring that the skills needed for the 
current and future career in marketing were embedded in my day-to-day responsibilities during 
my internship this summer. It equipped me with the necessary tools to ensure that I can secure 
jobs with career satisfaction and long-term employment. During the internship, I gained 
proficiency in various software tools used by EnviroTech Services, LLC, including Adobe 
Creative Suite, HubSpot, IFS, and analytics platforms, which are essential for staying proactive 
and progressive. I had the opportunity to earn several certifications through HubSpot, a CRM 
platform which is used for much more than just inbound marketing, sales, and customer service.
This platform helps promote organization both in the digital and physical world. 

In the marketing department, we used multiple software tools that facilitated creating content. I
trained in the Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, updating the company brochures, ensuring they 
contained the correct legal line and Trademark, while maintaining consistency. My training in 
Adobe Express allowed me to be diverse in social post and talent spotlight highlighting the
exciting activity within the company, for example, dust and road stabilization initiatives. The 
skills and knowledge I acquired at Envirotech Service, LLC, has empowered me to develop a 
branding package tailored for the Prairie View A&M Marching Storm, as well as recreating a 
complex logo for the nonprofit organization, Defying Gravity Fine Arts, which caters to 
underserved youth music students in Dallas and Houston metro areas. My forthcoming 
objectives include creating a branding package and brochures for both The Marching Storm and 
Defying Gravity Fine Arts, both of which we can utilize at the Texas Music and Education 
Association conference.

As I look at my personal transformative at EnviroTech Services, LLC, waves of emotion crash 
over me, blending anticipation with achievement into a poignant symphony. From the intricate 
art of revitalizing logos to the visionary realm of crafting robust marketing strategies, each 
endeavor has been a testament to seizing opportunities and embracing change. This experience 
has not only equipped me with the professional skills necessary for success but has also 
profoundly enriched my soul with gratitude for diverse experiences and the enduring resilience 
of the human spirit. In the tapestry of my life, this chapter shines brightly as a beacon of personal 
growth and empowerment. With every cherished memory and hard-earned lesson etched deeply 
within, I step forward into the future with determination, knowing that the seeds of 
transformation planted here will continue to bloom, guiding me towards a horizon with limitless 
possibilities.
